reponded to a PLB activation with 2 patients transferred to Hawke's Bay Hospital

6 months ago - Sunday 4th June - 1530 - The Rescue Helicopter was responded by the Rescye Coordination Centre to search for a PLB ( personal locator beacon) that was activated in the Ngauroro River near Whanawhana. A group of jet boats were located on a river bed and one of the boats had flipped in shallow water injuring two males. A 26 year old male sustained back injuries. Both patients were transported to Hawke's Bay Hospital for further treatment

7 months ago - Wednesday 31st May - 2100 Airlifted a female patient, in her teens, from Waikoau (near Tutira), suffering from medical issues, to Hawke's Bay Hospital.

7 months ago - Sunday 28 May (1548) Transported a female patient with pregnancy complications from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

7 months ago - Saturday 27 May (1145) Transported a female patient with pregnancy complications from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Quad bike accident at Ocean Beach

7 months ago - Friday 26 May (12000) The rescue helicopter was called to a farm at Ocean Beach to airlift a male, aged in his 60’s, who had sustained back injuries after a quad bike accident. St John Intensive Care Paramedics attended him to at the scene, prior to being flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Quad Bike accident at Kereru

7 months ago - The Rescue Helicopter was called to a rural Kereru address to airlift a teenage male patient who had sustained injuries after been run over by a quad bike. St John Intensive Care Paramedics attended him to at the scene, prior to being flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
